This purist matching transformer was developed specifically for X-quisite Connaisseur cartridges and ensures the best possible sound quality by matching the cartridge in every respect: magnetically, electrically, and mechanically. The magnetic circuit has been optimized for eddy current and hysteresis losses to ensure the best performance of the unique “ceramic arrangement” of the X-quisite cartridges when paired with a phono preamplifier.The transformers are housed in a painted wooden enclosure or, optionally, in a solid walnut enclosure.
