Gauder Akustik

Effective January 1, 2013, the German brand ISOPHON—known primarily for manufacturing loudspeakers—is changing its name to GAUDER AKUSTIK. This change is related to the closure of the parent company Isophon, which had been in business since 1929. However, this is not a revolutionary change, as the owner of the new brand, Dr. Roland Gauder, has been involved in nearly all of Isophon’s projects. As Roland Gauder himself says, “The Isophon era has come to an end; the Gauder Akustik era is beginning.”
