ARM TUBES

The uniqueness of Morch’s design lies in the vast range of options for configuring the tonearm to a specific phono cartridge model. A key factor here is the system of interchangeable tonearm tubes, which vary in weight and allow for optimal adjustment of the tonearm’s effective mass to match the cartridge’s mechanical compliance.

The tubes are available in four different weights and are color-coded as follows:

blue – very heavy 14g

green – light 4g

red – medium 6g

yellow – heavy 8g

Fans of long tonearms can order a 12′ tonearm tube. To ensure the best possible contact between the arm and the insert, the Precision series features models with an enlarged arm head surface. Additionally, the contact surface is ground to achieve a perfectly flat surface relative to the tube’s axis. Precision tubes are available in medium and extra-heavy weights.
