The SM-011 mono amplifiers are an upgrade to the SM-010 model. They trace their origins back to the SS-010, introduced in 2007. The SM-010 was developed in response to the demand for a higher-power amplifier capable of driving less efficient speakers. The result was the musicality and precision so characteristic of Vitus Audio.
The SM-011 is the natural successor, incorporating all the strengths of its predecessor while addressing even the slightest shortcomings. For example, one of its specifications truly sets these monoblocks apart: the total power of the transformers is 4 kVA! The SM-011 represents a true step forward in the Signature series. This Class A amplifier was designed to ensure optimal operating conditions at all times. Designed to preserve the musicality of its predecessor, the SM-011 delivers flawless reproduction of musical content even at the highest gain levels, and the selectable operating mode allows you to tailor it to your preferences—and we’re not just talking about switching from Class A to Class AB.
