A turntable with a classic design, equipped with a dust cover mounted on hinges. The size of the turntable allows for the installation of 12-inch arms. The construction is made entirely of aluminium. The outer frame serves as a load-bearing element. It contains components that, on one side, support the entire device, while on the other, through elastomer absorbers, act as dampers for the upper chassis. A motor and an “auxiliary frame” have been mounted onto it. The motor is encased in a brass-aluminium housing and is secured with metal-rubber elements. The bearing and the arm’s base are mounted on the “auxiliary frame,” which has also been installed in a similar manner to the motor on the upper plate. The bearing is an inverted construction with a ruby ball. The drive from the motor is transmitted via a belt to the sub-platter. The thick platter is made from two pieces of aluminium, each 40mm thick, layered with an acrylic plate to improve resonance damping. The interchangeable arm base allows for the use of arms from various manufacturers. The motor is powered via an external power supply with quartz stabilization. Control is done from a panel on the front of the turntable. The START/STOP function is also available from the remote control.
