Thrax
Thrax was founded by Rumen Artarski in Bulgaria and is headquartered in Sofia. From the very beginning, the company has been committed to uncompromising quality. As they themselves write about their products: “Thrax components are not designed by Italians and made in Switzerland, but appreciated by Italians and imported into Switzerland. We do what we do because we are put off by the ‘good enough’ approach and the monopoly of mediocrity.”
The components used in production are carefully selected. This is the case with NOS tubes and oil capacitors, while parts from current production come from renowned manufacturers such as Lundahl and Tamura… The company has extensive metalworking facilities. All enclosure components are manufactured in-house, from cutting the parts to anodizing them. The work of Japanese tube gurus Shishido-san and Kndo-san serves as inspiration. Thrax strives to combine tradition with the latest technologies, focusing on the smallest details to ensure that their devices are as refined as possible.
