Saboten L
The Saboten L insole, like the Madake,
uses natural materials for the support structure. In
this case, a cactus spine was used, set in an aluminum sleeve. The body
of the insole is made of Cameroon ebony. The Saboten, Saboten L, and Madake inserts have
slightly different support geometries, as shown in the diagram. According to
Noriyuki Miyajima San, this design provides an even more direct
transfer of the “needle’s” vibrations to the coil assembly and results in even less
