ST-50

Behind this mysterious name lies a “gel” for cleaning the stylus. It’s a very useful and exceptionally effective “tool.” Using it doesn’t require any acrobatic maneuvers, as is often the case with various types of stylus cleaning brushes. Simply place it on a plate, lower the turntable tonearm with the cartridge so that the stylus touches the active substance. Lift the tonearm and lower it again, adjusting the position slightly to improve the effect. We set the tonearm aside, remove the ST-50 from the turntable platter, and can now enjoy a clean cartridge (needle). Once a significant amount of debris has accumulated on our cartridge, we rinse it off under running water.
