DS E-3

The DS E-3 is the entry-level model, yet it offers all the advantages of more expensive and older models; together with the “preamplifier,” it is an excellent addition to any analog system. Like all models with a “3” in their name, this is the third generation of the optical system. Despite using “only” an elliptical stylus cut and a more compact equalizer design, the result is a sound with a wide dynamic range that is perfectly balanced and rich. The equalizer is equipped with RCA outputs and features additional equalization that can be selected using a switch on the rear panel. All components (cartridge, preamp) are hand-assembled, and each unit is inspected and tested before leaving the factory.
