RI – 101 MkII Reference Series
The Reference Series in Vitus Audio’s lineup is the “entry-level” series of devices. However, this does not mean that the devices in this series are treated any less seriously. The RI–101 MkII is a balanced integrated amplifier operating in Class AB. The gain control uses a resistor ladder.The amplifier has five outputs: 2 x RCA and 3 x XLR. The Pre Out (XLR) output allows the unit to be used to drive an additional power amplifier. The efficient power supply and high output power provide flexibility in speaker selection. The RI-101 MkII is a highly versatile amplifier. It perfectly captures all the nuances in the musical material, ranging from chamber music to heavy rock. The sound produced by the RI-101 MkII is cohesive and detailed, with exceptional tone and an extraordinary dynamic range, and the music it plays conveys just as much emotion as the artist felt when recording the album.
