Vinyl records are the pride and joy of many owners, not only because of their excellent sound quality, but also for their collector’s value and sentimental value. Like everything else, they get dirty. While cleaning CDs isn’t a major problem, vinyl requires a different approach. The device offered by Audio Desk uses ultrasonic technology. The Vinyl Cleaner Premium is a new, improved version of the machine. It features a more efficient pump and an ultrasonic generator. Thanks to more powerful fans, drying time has been reduced while noise levels have been lowered. The record is placed in a container into which liquid is pumped and rotated by a motor. The liquid circulates continuously and is filtered through a filter. Gentle microfiber “brushes” sweep the surface of the record, and thanks to the ultrasonic waves, contaminants from the bottom of the record grooves are thoroughly removed.
Excess fluid that accumulates on the disc’s surface is removed by soft rubber “squeegees.”
After cleaning, the disc is completely dry and ready for playback.
