BERLINA RC 8

Berlina RC 8 is a completely new design. Its construction is based on the entire Berlin RC series. The enclosure is made of individual 50-mm-high ribs cut on CNC machine tools. To prevent the transmission of vibrations, each element is isolated by a 3-mm spacer made of a soft, vibration-absorbing material. To increase rigidity, the ribs have different thicknesses at the rear and front, and some feature additional reinforcement in the form of a transverse cross brace. The ribs are fastened together using long screws. The shape of the enclosure has been slightly modified by enlarging the bass section. A “frequency response equalizer” is located at the top of this section. The bass section features three 9″ woofers. The midrange-tweeter section consists of a 7-inch midrange driver and a ceramic or diamond “tweeter.” The speaker stands on four adjustable feet.
