How to improve the best optical insert. Take a Grand Master insert, remove its mount, and replace it with a mount featuring an integrated “needle” made from a single piece of diamond. Simple, and… there you have it: the Grand Master Extreme.
One-piece diamond cantilever
The Grand Master Extreme uses a one-piece diamond cantilever measuring 0.22 mm, in which the diamond cantilever and the stylus tip are made from a single piece of diamond. Typically, the cantilever and the stylus tip are bonded together with adhesive. However, with a one-piece diamond support, the support and the needle tip are integrated into a single unit, allowing for more direct transmission of information from the needle tip.
