TRADITIONAL INSERT WITH ALUMINUM BRACKET
The diamond stylus is attached to an aluminum cantilever. Because aluminum is a relatively soft material, the tracking process
a groove at high dynamics causes the support to deform, thereby distorting the signal. Furthermore, there is a connection between the support and the coil body which, due to a lever mechanism, bears the transducer’s greatest dynamic load and cannot transmit the motion further without losses.HIGH-QUALITY INSERTS WITH BORON OR SAPPHIRE SUPPORTS
The support is made entirely or partially of boron, sapphire, or even diamond. This minimizes vibrations in the support itself. However, the connection between the support and the coil body is subjected to even greater stress, and this weak point degrades signal transmission quality.
X-QUISITE INSERT WITH PATENTED MONOBLOCK CERAMIC TECHNOLOGY
The coil support and body are made from a single piece of high-strength ceramic
and rigidity. As a result, there is no longer a joint at the point of greatest dynamic load, and the musical signal is transmitted with absolute clarity from the diamond stylus to the coil body. X-quisite delivers the highest resolution of detail and, at the same time, an exceptionally natural sound.CONSTRUCTION

BODY
The body is milled from a solid block of wood, and its material is carefully selected to match the acoustic characteristics of the various models. A carefully selected wooden insert between the tonearm and the cartridge balances the resonant properties of the contact area.

CONSTRUCTION
The ironless coil design of the X-quisite transducer requires a circuit with a strong magnet to achieve the desired output voltage. We tested numerous prototype configurations through listening tests before finding the ideal solution in the form of Neodym-Armco (a neodymium-iron magnet) and minimizing eddy current losses to an absolute minimum. The generator is fully integrated into the aluminum handle, ensuring that the transfer of mechanical energy between the arm and the transducer is as direct as possible.

MONOBLOC CERAMIC TECHNOLOGY
By combining various modern production methods, we have found a way to manufacture the smallest ceramic components exactly to our specifications. By designing a partially hollow bracket with an octagonal cross-section, we achieve extremely high stiffness throughout the entire bracket/coil assembly.

DIAMOND
The micro-ridge-cut diamond is precisely fitted into the cross hole of the bracket and secured with small amounts of industrial adhesive.

COIL
The coil material—high-purity copper, silver, or gold—determines the tonal characteristics of the various X-quisite models. The winding technology is specifically tailored to the ceramic coil body.

PACKAGING
The X-quisite insert is carefully packaged in a wooden box made from walnut wood grown locally in the Tösstal valley.
