The SCD-025 CD player is the successor to the SCD-010, Vitus Audio’s first digital device. The idea for it arose with the growing demand for a USB interface. However, the Danish company’s response was to completely redesign the device—incorporating the best features of the SCD-010 and improving everything else.
By developing its own SCD-010 and utilizing top-quality analog sources and products from the Masterpiece series, Vitus Audio was able to establish an impressive benchmark for the design of the SCD-025. As a result, the SCD-025 delivers a level of musicality and natural sound quality unmatched by any other player.
Like most Vitus Audio products, the SCD-025 features a modular design. This allows new solutions and standards to be implemented without replacing the unit—simply by updating the device or its software. All of the unit’s analog components have been designed in the same way, ensuring that they can be upgraded.
