The construction of the speakers consists of two modules. The bass driver is positioned horizontally in the “ceiling” of the lower part of the enclosure, with a bass-reflex port directed towards the ground. The A.M.T transducer is mounted in a vertical module attached directly to the bass section, allowing for the radiation of sound waves both in front of and behind the speaker. This entire design has been assembled to minimise the directional perception of sound generated by the speakers. The lowest frequencies are propagated omnidirectionally through the bass-reflex port, while the bass driver is angled upwards, effectively preventing the direct waves it generates from being perceived. The mid and high frequencies are reproduced by the A.M.T speaker, whose sound is intentionally devoid of the typical directional characteristics associated with drivers in this frequency range. All these factors contribute to a sound quality that superbly conveys the atmosphere of the recording, creating an incredible aura suitable for the mood evoked by the music. An efficiency level of 94 dB allows for excellent reproduction of the most delicate nuances of the recording, even when listening to music at very low volume levels.
