Founded in 2002, YG Acoustics is recognized as one of the leading manufacturers in the high-end audio industry.
Everyone at YG loves music, and their speakers reflect that passion. They deliver the most accurate and musical sound currently possible. Over the years, their journey has led to numerous proprietary innovations in design, materials, and manufacturing.
YG speakers combine the latest advances in science and technology. They are built from the highest-performance materials, manufactured by the company with unprecedented precision. They offer exceptional performance: a wide frequency response, exceptional phase coherence, a vast dynamic range, and negligible distortion. More importantly, they provide the purest insight into a performance. They convey every nuance of emotion, every musical accent—from the finest micro-details to the physical impact of the most thunderous crescendo.
YG is an international company.
CNC’s historic headquarters and main manufacturing facility are located in Denver, Colorado. They have state-of-the-art machining capabilities here, including waterjet cutting and precision 3- and 5-axis machining. The Denver team handles every aspect of design, machining, finishing, assembly, and logistics. They also have a beautiful listening room where pre-shipment testing can be conducted, and guests can experience their speakers and a wide range of electronic devices.
Since 2020, the research and development center has been located in Cambridge, UK. Cambridge is famous for its university and is one of the world’s leading technology hubs. The team has industry-leading tools and measurement facilities at its disposal, as well as its own GPU computing cluster for running simulations.
In early 2024, the XV 3 Signature model was launched: a unique, new speaker tuned by the research and development team. Each pair undergoes detailed measurements and iterative optimization to ensure the highest possible performance. To this end, the Cambridge facility was expanded to increase production capacity. Since then, these facilities have grown and now offer a full range of speakers from both Denver and Cambridge.
