Anyone who has ever attempted to calibrate a cartridge has gone through the process of searching for templates, and the question of whether a given template is suitable always arises. Acoustical Systems has developed a universal tool that allows you to very precisely adjust a cartridge “mounted” on your turntable. The set includes a gauge, a record cutout with laser-etched “contact points,” and a magnifying glass.
